1 pound ground sausage

2 cups chopped fresh spinach

1 (12 ounce) jar roasted red peppers, drained and chopped

1 (8 ounce) package crumbled feta cheese

7 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add sausage and cook until browned, 5 to 10 minutes. Place spinach and red peppers in a large bowl and pour cooked sausage and drippings on top. Add feta cheese and mix together.

Separate and unroll the crescent rolls. Place 1 on a work surface and add a small amount of the spinach mixture. Bring in the top 2 corners and bring the longer end up and around the filling, forming a loose ball. Repeat with remaining rolls and spinach mixture. Arrange balls in a triangular tree shape on a baking sheet, making sure to use some for the trunk of the tree.
